I had the pleasure of working with an exceptional internal team, leading the User Experience design for a groundbreaking new digital platform for psychology. Leveraging the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, BEACON delivers quality care for people suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Panic, PTSD, as well as many other mental health concerns.

The product is being developed within a rapid Agile/LEAN process, focusing on delivering maximum value to clients in the shortest possible time.

The Process

The team works with user stories, created in discussion with the full cross-functional team. User experience translates these stories into appropriate assets for further discussion and/or moves on to creating basic wireframes for review and iteration, and then into detailed mock-ups and technical specifications for the dev team. Developers, UX and Product then work together to make sure that the final product lives up to requirements and user expectations. When a feature is launched, we review analytics and user feedback to iterate improvements as rapidly as possible.

The Results

As the product rolls out and we add more clients every day, the challenges of working in such an exciting field have been a really positive learning experience. In addition, interest for our product in the marketplace is intense.
